What are the letters in the center of this sign?
I know I've wondered what the letters mean in the middle of the sign on the Randolphs gate post. Answer was found in one of the newspaper articles in the Image Gallery. It is the initials, ATL, of the owner in the 30s.
“At some point in the 1930s, Dr. A. T. Leonard purchased the property and used it as a private home.”
